The thought was a large nordic horse-looking beast with much weight in the front inspired by eg bison, very calm and slow but still lethal. This would be one of the older ones, not much mane left and quite bony : D

So I’m taking a concept art course outside school time, and last week’s assignment was speed painting without pre-planning your image C:  Here I started playing with two entirely different light sources and just let the imagination do the rest. This one took 50 min and was done in Photoshop ~

Time for the thirteenth character thumbnail, another typical princess version that got sorted away since it didn’t really fit into the story.  In other news: IT’S FRIDAY !??+1111+!!!1!!!!1!!!!111!

Sorryyyy I totally forgot about the thumbnail the two last days, I just went straight to bed after being in school from 9 am to 10 pm «  So here we gooo, tenth thumbnail, here I started thinking more about the fact that she was going to be in a rather cold environment and things that would be practical to have, such as goggles, hat, gloves and such C: Some of these details went into the final character design as well!

I’ve realized I like drawing sickly-looking people with loads of spots, dirt, pimples and scars :’D  Speed character paint, since I drew a girl druid yesterday I had to try to do a male one C:
